From Holten to Nijverdal a beautiful walking route has been plotted that goes along many remains that remind us of the second world war and the liberation. The walking route starts at the Memory Museum in Nijverdal and ends at the NS station in Holten.

In addition to nature, you can see even more in the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. Here is the Holten Canadian War Cemetery, this is one of the largest military cemeteries in the Netherlands with graves of Canadians who fell at the end of the second world war.

Een prachtig zwembad met meerdere verwarmde baden gelegen in de bossen. Voor de kids zijn er meerdere glijbanen en springplanken. Het is een heel fijn idyllisch plekje in de bossen waar ook veel lokale mensen te vinden zijn voor een duik. Een duik middenin de natuur, heerlijk!

Didn't bring your bikes? No problem! There are several possibilities to rent a bike. With a small 5 minute drive from Buitenplaats Holten you can rent bikes. It is also possible to have the bikes brought to the park so you can start right from there!

We offer a breakfast service for both adults and kids. When you book, you can book a delicious breakfast basket in the from Easter until the last weekend of September. The breakfast basket will be delivered to your accommodation in the morning!

At our holiday park there is also a small playground for the children.

Near the holiday park in Holten you will find the Reggestreek. The Regge River runs in the Reggestreek with fun water activities and walking routes.

The world time trail in Rijssen and Holten consists of a total of 50 kilometers of walking routes where you make a journey through time!

Adventure park Hellendoorn is an amusement park for young and old. Moreover, the amusement park has a beautiful water park, an extra nice tip in the summer!

At only 20 minutes by car from Holiday park Buitenplaats Holten you will find swimming pool De Scheg in Deventer! Come and swim for a day in the subtropical swimming paradise, aqua sports or swim some laps. The swimming paradise of the Scheg consists of different parts.

Close to the Buitenplaats Holten holiday park is the Dondertman children's farm. Fun for the smallest children. From the park you can easily cycle to Holten.

Speelbos The Sallandse Heuvelrug is a play forest of the Staatsbosbeheer and is located on the Sallandse Heuvelrug. This forest is ideal to spend a day climbing, clambering and crawling in the forest.

Tierpark Nordhorn is a cozy family zoo in Nordhorn, Germany. Nordhorn is just over the Dutch border at Denekamp and is an hour's drive from Buitenplaats Holten.

The De Borkeld nature reserve is located between Holten, Rijssen and Markelo. You are a short 10-minute drive from Buitenplaats Holten. It is approximately 600 hectares and belongs to the Staatbosbeheer.

Buitenplaats Holten is located near the river Regge in Zuna, just a short 10-minute drive away. Mölke Holiday Park & Party Centre is located on the Regge river. This holiday park offers the possibility to rent a canoe or leisure boat to enjoy nature. Discover the beautiful surroundings from a boat on the Regge! You can also go SUP-ing on the Regge or sail in a Regge sloop - a more luxurious variant of the motorised leisure boats on offer. This boat is for groups up to 10 people and a skipper can also be booked.
