Nordhorn Animal Park is a family-friendly zoo in Nordhorn, Germany. Nordhorn is located just across the Dutch border at Denekamp and is an hour's drive from Buitenplaats Holten. There are approximately 1700 animals and 100 different species to see here!

Several endangered species can be seen, such as squirrel monkeys and two-toed sloths. This park is different to other parks as it offers the opportunity to take a look at the feed kitchen. Here you can watch the staff prepare food for the animals.

There is also a petting zoo where the children can stroke piglets and goats. Moreover, there is a large playground next to the cafeteria so parent can directly supervise their children. There is also an on-site restaurant serving regional cuisine.
