Looking for a holiday park in Overijssel with outdoor pool? Holiday park Buitenplaats Holten is located in Overijssel, in Twente-Salland. It is situated exactly between Holten and Rijssen, two towns 5 kilometres from the park.
This park is also ideal for children. Come and visit the animals in the petting zoo and discover the playground at this child-friendly park. In the summer you can use the heated outdoor pool. Moreover, you can enjoy a cup of coffee together in The Living Room.
In addition, there is of course the possibility to discover the surroundings. The holiday park is located in Holten, near the Holterberg. Walk or bike from the park like the Holterberg, part of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. Enjoy the wooded surroundings and the beautiful heathlands. In addition, there are many animals to see in this nature reserve, including the black grouse. This bird species is almost extinct and can only be found in the forests of the Sallandse Heuvelrug.
Buitenplaats Holten offers various chalets for 4 to 6 persons. Several chalets can of course be booked. The chalets have a luxurious interior with a sunny terrace and a spacious garden. There is a lot of space and therefore a lot of privacy.
Christian holiday park in Rijssen
You'd rather go into town, wouldn't you? Only 5 kilometres away is the cosy centre of Rijssen. Besides many shops and restaurants there are also markets to visit on Mondays and Saturdays. Rijssen also has many terraces. Furthermore, the city is situated in the middle of the farmland with many meadows and old farms. With a fifteen minute bike ride you are in the center of Rijssen.
Rijssen is a Christian town, which means that the Sunday rest is honoured. Buitenplaats Holten is close to Rijssen and is therefore a Christian holiday park. This park is one of the few Christian holiday parks in the Netherlands. Feel free to attend a church service in one of the churches in Rijssen or Holten. Please note that most restaurants and bars in the area are closed on Sundays.
For a larger city, we advise you to go to Deventer, a cultural and lively city where there is plenty to do. From Buitenplaats Holten, Deventer is half an hour by car. A day out?
